How should
a man conduct his life here on earth that will
stretch to eternity?
In
Matthew 6:31-33, our Lord Jesus
Christ explained how it should be
done:
"Therefore do not worry, saying,
`What shall we eat?' or `What shall
we drink?' or `What shall we wear?'
32. "For after all these things the
Gentiles seek. For your heavenly
Father knows that you need all these
things.
33. "But seek first the kingdom of
God and His righteousness, and all
these things shall be added to you.
(NKJV)
Jesus said;
"But seek first the kingdom of God
and His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you". This does not mean that we do not
have to work for a living anymore,
but by seeking God's kingdom and His
righteousness first, the heavenly
Father will add these things to us—that is by helping us find and work
for our needs.

What is God's
Kingdom and God's righteousness that we
should seek first?
The
answer is given in the following
verses, thus::
He has delivered us
from the power of darkness and
translated us into the kingdom of
the Son of His love, in
whom we have redemption through His
blood, the forgiveness of sins.
(Colossians 1:13-14,
NKJV)
For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ, for it is the
power of God to salvation for
everyone who believes, for
the Jew first and also for the
Greek. For in it the
righteousness of God is revealed
from faith to faith; as it
is written, "The just shall live
by faith.'' (Romans 1:16, NKJV)

God's kingdom is also
the Kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have
redemption through His blood, and the forgiveness of
sins.

God's righteousness is the
gospel of Christ.
For in it the righteousness
of God is revealed from faith to faith;
Man should seek first the kingdom of
God which is also the kingdom of the
Son.
This is where he can have redemption
through Christ's blood and the
forgiveness of sins.
Man should also seek to
understand the Gospel of Christ,
for it is the power of God to
salvation for everyone who believes,

should not use all his energy and time
to earn a living or acquire the material
things of this world, but should seek
first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness—the Gospel of Christ, for the
salvation of his
soul.
