These are the members of Christ's Church who
are still alive and remain in the Church on the
Day of Judgment.
32C.1
What will happen to the members of
Christ's Church who are left alive and remain in
the church on the Lords second coming?
In I
Thessalonians 4:16-17, it is written:
16.
For the Lord Himself will descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of
an archangel, and with the trumpet of
God. And the dead in Christ will rise
first.
17. Then we who are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in
the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the
Lord. (NKJV)
The same
verse in another version of the Bible:
16.
The Lord himself will come down from
heaven with a command, with the
voice of the angel leader, and with
the sound of God's trumpet. The dead
people in Christ will be the first
to rise from death.
17. Then we who are still alive
on earth will be gathered up with
them in the clouds to meet the Lord
in the air. And so, we will
always be with the Lord.
"They shall be caught up together
— with those who were just (first) resurrected — in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and they
shall always be with the Lord." These
members of Christ's Church who are left
alive on the day of His second coming will
never taste death.
